TWIN FEST IRELAND
Created by Twins for Twins
Founded July 4th 2010

Twin Fest Ireland is the National Festival for Twin’s Triplets & all multiples in Ireland. It was created as a Festival to bring together identical, fraternal ,young and old, twins, triplets ,quads and their families in 1 Location for 1 Day from all Parts of Ireland while raising funds for chosen charities.
Twin Fest originated from an idea on which to raise funds for what was known as the Meningitis Trust in memory of an Angle, Katie Garvey who at aged 5 months succumbed to this deadly disease on Valentines Day 2007.Katie’s Parents Martha & George wished to make aware to other parents at how life treating Meningitis can be by sharing there story with others and providing funds to charities so that they to can carry out there great work. Patrick Ward Katie’s uncle who himself is a Twin pushed this idea, to which is now Ireland’s National Festival for Twin’s, approaching its 4th year in existence taking place on the 2nd last weekend of August each year in the historic Location of Keash Co.Sligo.
Twin Fest aims to provide a family fun day for all while raising funds for its chosen charities.
To date Twin Fest has awarded funds totalling €15,734 to the following charities The Meningitis Trust, The Little Fighters Fund. Act for Meningitis and Keash Village Enchantment Ltd.
Twin Fest Ireland are delighted to be supporting ACT for Meningitis.
This is truly a day for twins to meet other Twins to share stories and make new friends. It is always double or triple the fun at Twin Fest Ireland.
